Very effective painkiller but must be taken with food. May cause constipation and when you come off it you may find you have stomach pains for a few weeks

Remember at the same time to take your laxative medication as these painkillers definitely make you constipated. As a painkiller I found them very good.

co-codamol is ok for pain .as long as you use it to control the pain in small doses.Always cut down the dosage as can cause bowel movement problems.Better off with bit of pain than other problem.

I took co- codamol in hospital and at home after my hysterectomy this was taken along side other tablets. I did not experience any bad side effects they just made me a little sleepy and slightly constipated . I also took ibuprofen and paracetamol, this was all under the supervision of medical staff, I experienced no side effects with taking any of these either.I had morphine at one point, no side effects, just relaxed me and allowed me a restful sleep.
